"Face to Face with Destiny"  .... what would that be like?  What image comes to mind as you read those words?

Did you ask yourself something like "Do I have a destiny?"  or do you aleady know your purpose in life?

“Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice: It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” ~ William Jennngs Bryan (American Politician & Orator; 1860 - 1925)

“A person often meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it.”  ~ Jean de La Fontaine (French poet, 1621 - 1695)

Which, if either of the above quotes is true?

One of the many questions for consideration is whether destiny is Biblical. If so the next question then is "how does that affect what I do in life?"  For instance, those who know Paul from the Bible, know that he wasn't the most kind man in his early life and yet in Galations 1:15 he writes "But God set me apart from the time I was born. He showed me his grace by appointing me."

Have you been set apart for a special task?  Have you discovered your purpose?
